Crochet Pattern Works provides public browser tools for creating and editing crochet charts. By using the site, you agree to use the tools responsibly and in line with applicable law.
Ownership
You retain all rights you hold in the original images and designs you upload. Crochet Pattern Works does not claim ownership of your uploaded designs or the charts and exports you create with the service.
Check that you have permission to use any source image or material you upload. Pattern results, material estimates, and stitch guidance are planning aids, not a substitute for a gauge swatch or your own crochet judgment.
Commercial use
You may use charts and exports you create with Crochet Pattern Works for personal or commercial purposes, including patterns you publish or sell, provided you have the necessary rights to any source material you upload.
AI image generation
Describe a Pattern sends your description to our generation providers as described in the Privacy Policy. Do not submit private, sensitive, unlawful, or infringing material. Generated images can be inaccurate, delayed, unavailable, or unsuitable for a particular project; review them before using a resulting chart.
Service availability
The tools are provided as available. We may change, pause, or limit features when needed for security, maintenance, abuse prevention, or provider availability. We do not promise that a chart, export, or AI-generated image will be error-free or available at a particular time.
